RIP a powerful influence for liberty in young people's minds.

Anybody else remember how chillingly she portrayed "IT," the totalitarian entity, in "A Wrinkle in Time"? Anyone else remember being a kid feeling scared for little Charles Murray and cheering on his sister Meg for rescuing him by the power of love? It was such a powerful introduction to the preciousness of true liberty of thought and the life-stifling characteristics of conformity of thought!

You can give "A Wrinkle in Time" to any child you are trying to teach the value of liberty. I did to two girls almost twenty years ago and they surpassed every expectation of their horribly conformist parents.

Ron Paul r[EVOL]ution!

This is sad news. I remember her being my introduction to science fiction as a young child. May she rest peacefully.
