Why do so many RP Supporters fight and argue so hard to have funds allocated by bureaucrats instead of representatives? Do People realize that earmarks don't add to the overall budget?

That is correct.

It's used to attack politicians like Ron Paul who don't vote for the money to be spent in the first place.. but then once they take it, he tries to get some of it back and they attack him for it :mad:
