While I was waiting in line for 3 hours this morning to vote, I overheard one of the officials giving an update on votecount for various sections of the district to another official over the phone. It didnt sound to promising for Peter James. Just about all of the various sections were coming in on average like 400 votes for dems, 100 for republicans, and 10 for other. I knew Maryland was a blue state, but those kind of numbers make it a landslide. I highly doubt half these people who are voting for Edwards here realize that in the few months shes been in office, shes already placed over $5000 in tax burdens on each of them due to voting for the wall street bailout bill.
