There was nothing on earth like a Grateful Dead concert. And no two Grateful Dead concerts were ever the same, either.
Most bands play their instruments. The Dead in the Jerry days played their instruments, yes--but they mainly played the crowd.

I counter with Judas Priest.. garcia sucked. He had alot of cultural clout and used to to tag parking lot bedraggled drug addled morons along for a bloated ticket sales ride..

I never was a big fan of Bob's singing but Throwing Stones is such a great tune. Fire on the Mountain (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrdM-A9tYuY) is my all time favorite, though.

I dunno you just got me thinking about that...I don't know what the song was about actually..
