I recorded it but my mic was on MUTE :( the bars were moving like normal so I thought it was registering sound. Just checked the files... NO sound and mic was set to OFF :(

So I'll give you what I remember.

The show host asked Ron Paul about the case Berg v Obama and asked why Berg wouldn't have standing ground. The host asked when does an American citizen get standing ground especially in a case like this. Ron Paul said essentially all American citizens should be able to have standing ground and that the courts do what they want to all the time. So anytime the courts don't want to hear a case they'll just say you don't have standing ground. He related it to the 1980's lawsuit he was part of as a congressmen to say that the Senate can not write tax bills and that suit was thrown out because it also had no "standing ground".

The show host then asked Paul about a possible impending doom that Obama would take guns away. Paul said Obama wouldn't announce this in January if he was going to do that because Obama is much smarter than that. He would do it a different way if he did (Paul I assume was suggesting a slower less noticeable method). The show host asked about what people should do if they are "forced" to give up their weapons. Paul said most people would probably give up one gun and keep the rest. Paul also said "...remember, they [as in the government] have more guns than us." He said he was very cautious and felt that practicing civil disobedience was his method and didn't like the idea of violence (I again assume he doesn't like violence unless it is a last resort).

I was glad that Lamphere asked him about his thoughts on stockpiling necessities, and Ron actually admitted that he had done some stockpiling for weather emergencies. So I guess those of us in the 'Freedom Living' subforum aren't any crazier than Ron for wanting to prepare for tough times.

It seemed like it was a much more focused and practical interview, and the questions weren't really posed to elicit Ron's usual answers.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter has rejected an emergency appeal for the court to halt the tabulation of the 2008 presidential election results until Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama documents his eligibility to run for the office, according to an attorney who brought the action that challenges the Illinois senator's standing in the race.

However, the issue isn't going away, at least for now, since Souter set a schedule for a response from Obama to the challenge from attorney Philip J. Berg.

WND reported earlier when Berg brought his claims to the Supreme Court. That move came after a federal judge dismissed Berg's lawsuit alleging Obama is ineligible to be president because of a possible birth in Kenya.
