The neocons did not go to the small government back then one day and immediately take it over and say "build a central bank, fiat currency, and heavy regulations."
Instead they gradually introduced big government ideas. That is how taking over usually works. They send a few members in with a few minor big government ideas at first, and then after they warm you up to those ideas they increase the big government ideas in amount by 5 percent, then another 5 percent etc.
Instead of throw 100% big government at you in a lump sum, they give it to you in small installments.
That is why this movement must be wary of ideas that contradict our ideology of freedom.
