The audio/video needs for the event are:

1) Home Theater system. We have a 32" TV committed so far, but a bigger flat-panel home theater system or ideally a projection unit would be preferrable.

I have all of the means necessary to link up to whatever visual monitor (either an analog TV or high-def LCD) we use and I will be providing that along with the video footage itself (this will look much better than the quality of the DVD I burned and gave out at the first meeting).

I priced some rentals of a projection monitor and the best price I have seen is 169 for a day rental. Is this worth getting money together for or would we rather just use the 32" TV?

The latest report is we have access to a 52" plasma screen TV.

Its a 50" plasma but it's only available if it can be secured properly.

I will do whatever I can do watch/secure it when I am around. I plan to be there most of the day, if not for the whole duration.

It looks the the A/V portion for the convention room is pretty well covered.

Eric, I am sending a Data DVD off to you in the mail tomorrow morning of all of the video clips that I have extracted and archived of various Ron Paul appearances/debates etc.

I will also have all of these clips on my laptop with me at the event.

Oh and also, Micah Stubblefield has a decent digital video camera and tripod that he volunteered for use at the event.

Micah, can you confirm that you will have this with you at the event?

With the A/V needs solidly in hand, I'll volunteer now for "Flier posting and spreading the word". Do we have a flier worked up specifically promoting this event? What specifically needs to be done on this?

I'm going to try to create a poll to find out how many volunteers we have. Enter yourself once it's up.

Let's also check with campaign headquarters for a flyer or other collateral that is pre approved...we might not have time to get ours approved.

I just found these ...they come directly from the ronpaul2008.com website so I'm assuming they are approved. I can help get these printed for cheap but we will need donations.
