I was just wondering if Giulani ever actually commented on or addressed the "reading list" Ron Paul gave him.

A spokeswoman for Giuliani derided Paul's latest comments.

"It is extraordinary and reckless to claim that the United States invited the attacks on September 11th," Maria Comella said in an e-mail.

"And to further declare Rudy Giuliani needs to be educated on September 11th when millions of people around the world saw him dealing with these terrorist attacks firsthand is just as absurd."

There are various ways in which the Rudy camp could make Ron Paul look bad on this topic.

Ron Paul will have to speak for himself on this, and he will have a steep uphill climb swaying Rudy fans.

It's not about facts or truth, it's about perception. This will probably get very ugly and hard for Ron Paul fans to watch.

There are no rudy fans except in Saudi Arabia and newscorp.

The conservative christians are abandoning him in droves, and the more the rest of the peopel find out about him, the less they like.

I am sure the rest of his support will dry up once his lawsuit against gun manufacturers is made more public.

He'd probably just lie and say he did if asked directly.

Giuliani: Then
“I went down to the scene and we set up headquarters at 75 Barkley Street, which was right there with the Police Commissioner, the Fire Commissioner, the Head of Emergency Management, and we were operating out of there when we were told that the World Trade Center was going to collapse. And it did collapse before we could actually get out of the building, so we were trapped in the building for 10, 15 minutes, and finally found an exit and got out, walked north, and took a lot of people with us.”

Giuliani: Now
"I didn't realize the towers would collapse." He later added, "No one that I know of had any idea they would implode. That was a complete surprise."
