The Federal Reserve Bank of the United States has invented paperless and inkless money and says it will begin to distribute it immediately.
In a prepared statement Ben Bernake said, "With this new technology the FED will now be able to make the dollar worthless even faster, and with far less effort." Bernake went on to boast that his new helicopter "Liquidity VIII" is the first consumer good purchased with this new money.
The FED printing presses will be powered down for the first time in recent memory tonight during a gala honoring monetary depreciation.
Other FED officials were unavailable for comment.
