I'm sure the Government will do a great job managing our "Guaranteed Retirement Accounts", just like they did with Social Security!!

So, the Republicans wanted private social security accounts and the Democrats thought that too close a relationship between the government and corporations even though the public got to choose the investments. Now the Democrats want the government to buy and sell stocks with abandon and impunity just as long as they can do it without public interference. Something definitely smells about this...

The originator of this idea, Teresa Ghilarducci, said it's supposed to SUPPLEMENT Social Security! JESUS CHRIST!!! ARE THEY TRYING TO BRING ABOUT THE END OF DAYS??? This issue isn't even that close to home for me (I don't have a 401k) and I'm getting fighting mad about this.
