Referring to an earlier blog post about IQ scores of a couple of people:

Kim Kardashian - 135
Ben Bernanke - 112.

Tom: Was Bernanke's score adjusted for inflation?

For someone who studied the Great Depression he is doing a great job of recreating it. Maybe he is like one of the Civil War reenacters. Only he is trying to redo the GD with a different outcome.

Quick necromancer act:
I just noticed on Wikipedia that Ben Bernanke scored a 1590 out of 1600 on his SAT, and that reminded me of this thread. Even though he took the test prior to 1974*, such a score would still indicate an IQ wayyyyyyyyy above 112. No matter how blind or corrupt Bernanke may be, I'm going to have to call bullshit on the 112 story.

*Actually, it's hard to tell whether the pre-1974 test was "easier" or "harder" than the post-1974 test. Looking around, it seems like it became easier to score "relatively high" after 1974 than beforehand, but it also seems like it became much harder to score near the top after 1974. Based on what I'm looking at (not very reliable sources though), it seems as though the ceiling was still way higher even after the 1995 recentering than it was prior to 1974.

Firefox decided to bump my post count when I hit the back button...that's kind of convenient! :D

Anyway, I'll just quote my previous post:

I guess his IQ score depends on when the test was administered... all tests are revised/changed over the years, because they get scored based on curves/stats/etc.
