Ron Paul supporter attacked in Houston - Attacker left an 'M' on victims face

HOUSTON, TX -

A 24-year-old Texas male was was beaten as he left the golf course and went into the parking lot to leave earlier this afternoon. He claimed that, after seeing a Ron Paul bumper sticker on his car, the male attacker beat him and used his knife to mark a M on his face.

The robber was quoted as saying. "Oh, you are one of those Ron Paul people!" and then struck the victim over the head with his cane. Josh Lowry Manuel, who reportedly hails from Houston, Texas, told police that on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. ET, a 5'8" white male in khaki pants and a blue collared shirt hit him repeatedly until he was left unconscious. One detective told the AP that they had talked to a few people but have "nothing solid."

In what appears to be a nationwide fury with Republican voters another man was attacked today and marked with a large "M". Police believe that it is a unorganized movement against Ron Paul supporters. The male identified as Damon Talbot was attacked while exiting from his early voting location. The victim stated that the assailant yelled "Ron Paul was a wasted vote!" before hitting him and cutting the "M" into his cheek. Talbot also stated "If this is what liberty takes it's worth the price." This attack comes as a string of similar attacks has begun to appear nationwide.

When asked about the incident while recovering in the hospital, Hansen said, "If I ever find the sunnuvabitch who did this, he's gonna get the treat of a Norwegian toddler pen. I'm gonna throw him in a crab pot and sink him where the sun don't shine."

No suspects have been named, and police are looking for anyone who might have information concerning the identity and whereabouts of Cpt. Hansen's attacker.
