long story short, if you have desire to help watch over the elections in November at the polling places to take video or any other number of things to do, video the vote can use your help. In 2006 the program used youtube and video the vote volunteers uploaded thousands of interviews of problems at the polls by the people who experienced the problems themselves. The video the vote program made headlines and news across the world about the problems at the polls. Video the vote and the idea to protect our votes and the right to vote was the result of the Florida and Ohio elections with Diebold and other problems in the Presidential races in 2000 and 2004 (and recently in 2006).
