WBZ news has just reported that if question 1 passes (abolish the state income tax) the state congress will hold a session to over ride or delay the implantation.

Funny part is they will overturn a law that over turns a law that is unconstitutional.

They ignore the people with the bailout, why not here?

Anyway, governments have more than enough money without the income tax.

I read that the Mass Secretary of State said that if the initiative passes and the politicians refuse to honor it, the only recourse the people have is to vote them out next go-around.

If we vote out idiots like Barney Frank in November they won't dare try it.

screw that douch if it does pass and they overturn it i would expect there will be MAJOR
amounts of non filers so much so that they simply will not be able to enforce it

if it passes and gets overturned and people keep paying then there is something far more seriously wrong with people than i could imagine

And what happens when the state presses charges against non-filers? Trying to enforce a statute that was repealed? Prosecutors like to cover their butts and go after easy cases. Many will not want to wade into murky and contradictory laws. Especially at the county level.
