I think we need a good comedian on Ron Paul's side to do a funny political satire skit of this race so far, favoring of course Ron Paul. We could have the comedian do impressions of the other candidates, maybe a one man show, and video this and put it on YouTube. This would not have to be expensive, we could even get a not-so-famous comedian to do this, as long as he (or she) is good and funny.

I think this would make for an extra novelty and fun video we could send to friends, acquaintances, or the public to give them a laugh, and at the same time show them how ridiculous these other candidates are.

What do you think of the idea?

There's a libertarian comedian who used to do this thing for the Libertarian Party at Libertarian conventions. I can't remember his name but he might be worth asking. Anybody know who I'm talking about?

This guy (Damian Mason) does a dead-on Bill Clinton. He's clean, VERY funny, and a Libertarian to boot. (If you attended the 2002 national LP convention, he was the guy that addressed the convention as Bill Clinton)

Oh man, Stanhope would be awesome!!

Gotta put the kids to bed before that one though. If you havent heard Doug Stanhope, go check him out.

I dont dare to think of all the f--ked up twists and turns a skit written by him would take.

Worth watching though thats for sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExAw4hIhRIU

There are some Carlin clips where he rants about the govt and it sounds just like Ron Paul is speaking (ok ok, he's funnier). As someone mentioned though, Carlin's wikipedia article says that he doesn't vote. Maybe that's changed
