Don’t be surprised if (Obama) cracks $200 million in October, meaning he’ll have raised fully four times as much in the final two months as McCain got from public financing. Just in case you were wondering how he can afford a half-hour commercial in primetime on three of the four major networks.

I'm not sure this could have been us. We'd have had to guarantee more return on investment to get that many donors that rich. In other words, we'd have had to be ready to be influenced.

And sure, it could have been us if we took donations from corporations, lobbyists, and engaged in corruption.

It's better than the November 5, 2007 money bomb but not as good as the December 16th one.

Anyway, I strongly suspect Obama is taking in illegal foreign donations and not reporting them to the FEC because they're under 200 dollars.

Think about how many poor families it could feed in THE UNITED STATES. Not that I'm a socialist or anything, and I don't agree with government handouts...but I'm just looking out for the home team.

Nonsense. It is about the power, not the money. We'd be jumping for joy if Ron Paul had the nomination and the people were flooding him with cash.

Every poll that gauges worker retention indicates that money is almost never the primary consideration of the employee's decison to accept, or retain, employment.

And btw, the President makes $400,000 per year.
