Hello, this is my first post. I have a question about voting in the primaries. I am only 18 and am a Libertarian and I registered as one a couple weeks ago. I was unaware that you cannot vote in the republican primaries unless you are registered as one. I want to vote for Ron but I just wanted to make sure that it was true I have to be registered as a republican before I can. After the primaries I guess I should just re register again as a Libertarian. Also I have one more question, If Ron Paul does not win the republican primaries will he still run for president as a Libertarian? I have never voted before and would appreciate any advice, Thanks!

Yes, most states are closed primaries meaning you must be a registered Republican to vote for Ron Paul. Regarding Ron Paul running as a Libertarian, he has stated that he is 99% certain that he will NOT run as a Libertarian or independent candidate. But there is still a 1% chance.;)
