In a way I kind of hope your McCain wins. That way when you are loaded into your FEMA prison car and sent off to your local KBR detention camp (mine is in Mankato Minn--I've seen it) you can tell us all how much different (worse) it would be under Obama.

Actually, I think it's horrendous that Obama's been endorsed by an openly communist organization like the U.S. Communist Party (talk about a contradiction of terms). However, I just don't understand how an otherwise principled person, such as yourself, would want to vote for a guy who says we have nothing to worry about in an Obama Administration. It seems to me that McCain implicitly has no problems with communists being in charge of the White House.

Tones, they both fucking suck.

Buzz off if you just want to insult everyone here who calls themselves conservatives. Just because we won't back McCain does not make us communists.

KKK also endorses Republicans. You can't control who endorses you.

Why are you such a shill for McCain? Don't you realize conservatism will die if McCain wins? The best thing for the conservative movement is for McCain to fail. Republicans will then realize they need to dump the RINO neocons like Bush, McCain, Rove...

If McCain wins then we are letting socialist "compassionate" conservatism win. If McCain loses then TRUE conservatives will be back in 2010. We will be unified with some sort of brand new "contract for america"...with any luck maybe Campaign 4 Liberty style.

Do you think the issue is that you're telling us something new (Obama is a communist/socialist) and we somehow deny it? Of course he's a socialist. It's obvious every time he opens his mouth.

That doesn't automatically make McCain worth voting for or any better, any more than it would make Lenin any better if he had the RNC nomination. McCain stood up there and bragged that he voted to confirm Ginsberg, for pete's sake. He doesn't even care about letting conservatives keep their "he'll give us conservative judges" mantra.

I can't believe there's so much hostility on this forum about McCain. I'm voting 3rd party, but I can certainly understand where some people might consider McCain the lesser of two evils and vote for him in hopes that he won't screw things up as bad as Obama. I disagree with that idea, but still, we need to stop fighting with one another and be a little more united if we're ever going to make a difference in this world.

Mankato?!?!

When I signed up for guard duty, no one told me it was going to be such a long commute to work. I wonder if FEMA is reimbursing for mileage?

Why do I dislike McCain? I'll list a few reasons:

The way he allows himself to be portrayed as a war hero when the truth is he is a naval disgrace. His treatment of vets is absolutely despicable.
The way he manipulated his own law to secure the nomination.
He voted FOR the bailout.
The way his machine railroaded RP delegates
The way he treated his first wife.

How is that for starters?

Countrywide Bank
Voted for Bailout
The way he avoided votes to keep a blank slate
His refusal to address valid questions of his past
His advisors.
His willingness to ignore the constititution in spite of his degree
The way he is misleading his idealistic followers

Hows that for starters?

Stormfront endorsed Ron Paul, oh N03S I guess that means Ron is an ignorant racist jackass. Endorsements of this nature mean very little, the Communists endorsed Kerry (not that he was so great) too.

The Communist Party USA always endorses the Democrat. They haven't run their own candidates since the 1980s. Not news, needs pruning.

The only people fighting here are those trying to convince others to vote for the liberal McCain using BS rhetorical devices. IMO, if they were sincere, they would be pushing to help real conservatives and other constitutional moderates. Instead they shill for a liberal because he has an R in front of his name . That goes against everything we, and RP, stand for.

Indeed. I don`t for a minute belive someone is with a heavy heart voting for McCain, because he would nominate better judges to the supreme court.

That is bollocks. They are voting for McCain because they want to vote Republican, because it is their tribe. And the supreme court or whatever is just how they rationalise their vote to themselves and to us.

If Nancy Pelosi was a Republican they would have just as readily digg up an excuse to vote for her.

This is worth repeating. In other words, the fact that the CPUSA has endorsed Obama is nothing new or especially scary compared to any other election cycle, since they also endorsed Kerry, etc.
