Ron Paul discusses the bailout on CNN, nails it

"It's an immoral system. You're asking the poor people to bail out the rich. You're asking the innocent people to bail out the guilty. You're asking people to just totally defy the Constitution because there's no place in the Constitution that says that we can do these things."

And if you're up for a double digg, check this out:

EU President Sarkozy suggests return to gold standard

bloomberg.com — Sarkozy today went beyond calls by fellow European leaders such as U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown for global bank supervision and tighter regulation, saying governments need to consider re-anchoring currencies, the hallmark of the original Bretton Woods agreement. EU Central Bank President Trichet concurs.

Mention Ron Paul in the comments of that one! Ron is getting so vindicated recently... this is awesome. It's too bad this didn't happen a year ago...

EDIT: and don't just digg! Post comments and get the discussion started.

Ugh, still more more libertarian nonsense. Haven't we seen enough damage from unbridled capitalism run amok without these morons trying to make the problems substantially worse?

Dear Ron Paul morons: please grow up.

Ohh god.....

I don't think it's likely. Nothing short of a miracle as of now.:(

My headline is much better. The "Ron Paul in 2012" stuff is irrelevant nonsense. But his quote on the bailout... that is gold. Someone actually submitted this article with the "Ron Paul in 2012" headline and it has only 8 diggs, while mine has already accumulated 60+.

I wanted people to read his quote on the bailout, much more than I care if they read that worthless 2012 speculation. Obviously he isn't going to run in 2012! Stastistically speaking, he won't even live that long. And we have much more pressing issues to deal with, our COUNTRY might not even live that long.

Good job. We need to keep causing political pain by having Ron Paul continue to drop the atomic 'I told you so'.
