not voting for President this year...I was hoping to, but I won't be :(

I was leaning Chuck Baldwin, but I just have reservations, and well, Bob Barr wasn't even remotely on my radar...and well...heh, none of the other candidates fit my fancy. I would write-in Ron Paul, but he specifically told us not to, so I'll abide by his wishes and not do it.

Thus, I won't be voting, for President...just vote on the State+local issues, and the Ohio Congress+Senate (and the national Congress, as well).

Check out Charles Jay, the nominee of the Boston Tea Party and Personal Choice Party. He's a radical Libertarian. :)

Why are there still people writing Dr. Paul's name in, even when he's said not to many times? I think it's disrespectful. Just my opinion though...

You're so predictable in your posts, my friend. At least you're consistent in your convictions, unlike many supporters here on the forums.

Frank Moore was another Independent candidate. He is a Performance artist, writer, painter and musician. Dr. Susan Block of California is Moore’s running mate. Unfortunately (or thankfully), Moore has not registered with the Federal Election Commission for a presidential campaign.

Bump + why is support moving from Baldwin to Barr?

Is this due to forgiveness of the "press conference" fiasco or just due to a relatively low polling sample?

I was going to vote for Baldwin till I realized he was a religious nut. No offense to him or anything but some of its beliefs are out there, taken from wikipedia (granted it is wikipedia but still):

he regards black pastor Martin Luther King, Jr., as an apostate for King's having renounced the deity, virgin birth, and physical resurrection of Christ, as well as the authority and inspiration of the Bible. Baldwin also considered King a poor role model to have spent the night before his murder with two women, and then to have physically fought with a third; Baldwin added that because "King's coziness with communists and Marxists is undeniable .... the plight of black families today reveals that his legacy is one of destruction not healing."[62]

He has also compiled a booklet, "What Every Christian Should Know About Islam", emphasizing, for example, the fact that Mohammed took Aisha as a wife when she was only six years old (Sahih Bukhari) or seven (Abu Dawud, Tabari; he did not have sex with her until she was nine). Baldwin summarizes Muslim persecution of Christians by saying, "Only communism rivals Islam in sheer numbers of people persecuted and killed."[63]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Baldwin

So yeah, I'm not going to vote for him....between Barr and Paul for me, although I don't know how to check the list of registered write-ins for Ohio and I'm assuming Paul isn't on it so it will probably end up being Barr for me.

I am so glad my eighteenth birthday was after that election. There wasn't one national ticket I would have voted for. Not one with insane neocon Wayne Root, CIA shill Bob Barr or protectionist theocrat Chuck Baldwin.

I wrote in Ron Paul. At the last minute supporters in California filed delegates so he could be an official write in candidate (his permission was not required in California, apparently), and I was able to vote for him. Mind you they NEVER separately reported his vote share in all counties -- San Bernardino, for example.

Whatever. I got to vote for the guy I wanted. :D

http://www.flatheadbeacon.com/articles/article/baldwin_theres_a_fight_coming/21438/

He also emphasized that whether someone is a Christian should not cause divisions among those girding for the coming fight.

“Some of our biggest enemies call themselves Christians,” Baldwin said. “Some of our biggest allies do not call themselves Christians.”

“I will fight alongside anyone who will fight for liberty,” he added. “And I will fight against anyone who opposed liberty even if they call themselves Christian.”

Doesn't sound much like a Theocrat in this instance, now does he?

I had an absentee ballot during my move to Florida. I didn't get around to voting until that Monday and spent the extra money to have the ballot over nighted to Texas to make it in time.

I wrote in Ron Paul.

You forgot the protectionist part.

Regardless I have little trust in him. He's a protectionist (very anti-capitalist of him), he hangs around Israel-first neocons like Alan Keyes and Tom Tancredo and he has ties to the theocratic Pensacola College, who's school curriculum aBeka supports the neocon foreign policy, defends the federal reserve and outright promotes theocratic ideas. I that know for a fact because those were my school books when I was a kid and I still have some of them.

You forgot the protectionist part.

Regardless

Regardless of the fact that you obviously have never read or heard him speak.
He was a most outspoken supporter of Ron Paul until Ron dropped out of the race. He has written on many liberty issues and opposes the US support of Israel. He opposes foreign intervention in general.
Ron Paul endorsed him for president.
You might want to check him out. With an open mind.
