congrats !

tip: the groups should contact the local press to make some headlines when their candidate visits them personally to thank them - this would be great press !

WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm finally going to see my favorite person in person. I guess he decided to visit both because they're close together.

We're very happy to see both Philadelphia and New York receive their just due, and to see the contributions from Chicago, Irvine, and New Hampshire were also recognized.

This means I get to go to two rallies!!! I better join the New York group so I get invited there, even though it was a spirited competition!

I am really curious what the numbers are as well, and I wonder if anyone knows those. I hope they release them at some point.

For the NYC event I say we rent Madison Square Garden

IT CAN BE DONE - SO LET'S GO BIG!

This is me speculating, but they may be reluctant to release numbers like that to anyone but the FEC.

How much? Last week I calculated how much was donated by the top 25 standing groups, under the assumption the 25th ranked group donated $0, and the grand total was over $120,000. If anyone knows the exact amount raised by any one group (like the one they belong to for example), and still has the standings, we can quickly calculate this accurately

Yes, no doubt that info is on a need to know basis. Suffice it to say that Manhattan and Philly met the benchmark. Eventually the FEC filings will be available for everyone's inspections.

Great job folks!

People from around the country would come in for it. If I'm not mistaken Nader rented MSG out in 2000. And Ron Paul has more supporters than Nader did. More passionate ones too!

We'd have to get some celebs involved like he did. But man how awesome would that be!
