Proof Obama is socialist?

I hear the term that Obama is socialist thrown around ALOT.


Explain why he is a socialist, and what proof you have for this argument?

Im still pretty new to the socialist vs Capitalism debate and i hate getting cornered by people who think socialist ideology is good.

McCain and Obama both support bailouts and income taxes.
They are both socialist.

I would contend that their is only one person working for government that is not a socialist because he is the only one that is actually working to reduce the size of government.
