This strategy is as old as the old book. It's the classic case of David vs. Goliath. The small vs. large. Revolutionaries vs. Status Quo.
Small, invading Barbarians took down the Great Roman Empire.
Americans took on the English to gain Independence.
The People of France took on the Monarchy to create a revolutionary new government.
The Vietnamese successfully held of the USA from taking over.
You think our troubles in Iraq is a coincidence?
It's called guerrilla warfare. And it works. Large Empires fail because they are simply to clumsy and disorganized. Large Governments will never prevail over a small group of determined revolutionaries.
You may think our small numbers are a disadvantage. But Hide and Seek works. Simply because the giant has to sort through a needle in a haystack.
