I've heard everyone all moan and complain about this, but if Beck keeps up the rhetoric he's been espousing the past few weeks, he'll greatly increase its exposure to the masses as FEW watch Headline News Network in comparison to Fox News.

If he turns into John Gibson, I'll never watch him again whether or not he has Ron Paul or Schiff on.

but either way I have a bad taste in my mouth while understanding that he could help wake up more people... he really has come around in many ways..

god I hope he opens the show with a full hour interview of G. Edward Griffin.

will he be allowed to do what he wants or will Bill Kristol be his producer?

I have a feeling the new Glenn Beck will be nothing like the recent Glenn Beck.

Currently as it stands, Glenn Beck easily has the best program in news television. Let's hope it stays that way. Schiff will be on again tonight.

Glenn Beck seem to flip flop a lot. But at least he comes around to our views from time to time.

Anyway, you a prison break fan? :D

I would guess that Glenn's ratings have gone up as he's come around and been giving some glimpses here and there of truth.

If that changes when he moves to FoxNewsPorn.com, he won't pull those who watch him specifically FOR those glimpses along with him.

Shame if Glenn goes and allows them to shut him down, but ... <shrug> damn near every man has a price, and Murdoch is rich....

If so, it'll be just another person selling out and become a whore for fox.

Not a strategically good decision.

He will only get Fox viewers there. Moderates prefer CNN.

So, well

Fuck U Frank.

Somehow I get the feeling that once he gets a taste of the big bucks Fox throws at him to be their puppet he will completely sell out.

Fox News only gets Fox viewers?? Imagine that. I suppose MSNBC doesn't get MSNBC viewers, and CNN certainly wouldn't get CNN viewers.

The last time I checked the figures... average viewers to corresponding times market share.

FOX NEWS 1.0

MSNBC: 0.6

CNN: 0.3

So about 3 times more viewers going to FOX from CNN/Cash News Network. I think everyone is just about sick of CNN.Situation Room/Wolf Biltzer/Lou Dobbs hot GAS and that ridiculous statement they say every 30 minutes: "Best NEWS TEAMon Television"

Annoying, but at least they have some 3 rd politicians on... FOX NEWS is NEOCONs, how much influence ithey have on GLAN BECK and his 20 staffers? UNKNOWN.

CODY WILLARD on FOX BUSINESS would be a better choice.

confirmed

Drudge teased this earlier, and Fox News has announced that conservative radio and television host Glenn Beck is joining the network, leaving behind CNN's Headline News. Beck will host a show at 5 p.m. on Fox beginning in the spring (Full release after the jump).

It hasn't yet been determined when Beck's last day will be, but I've heard from a network source that Headline News was already preparing to re-air "Lou Dobbs Tonight" at 9pm, instead of Beck's show (which first airs at 7pm). When Beck leaves, Dobbs show will be in the 9pm slot, but no decision on 7pm.

"Glenn has been a terrific employee and colleague to many of us at CNN," a network spokesperson said in a statement. "We wish him well.”

Yeah, either he keeps up the rhetoric, or, he kept up the rhetoric to boost his ratings enough to get the promotion. Either way I still can't stand to watch FauxNews.
