I suggest voting for "Reducing the deficit" and "Cutting taxes" (you can vote more than once). Currently, "Solving the credit crunch" (as if a market correction can be "solved") and "Creating new jobs" (as if government can do that) are at the top and "Halting the housing meltdown" (price fixing anyone?) is beating out "Cutting taxes." :(

3 out of 5 of those responses are not the President's responsibility.

This country doesn't want a President. They want a Super Hero to swoop in and save us all from certain downfall. What about a President that just sticks to his responsibilities, while the market and the rest of the country do theirs.

But now the government is not satisfied being our teachers, they have to be our bankers, our mortgage brokers and our realtors too. and our doctors. nutritionists.

Our nannies.

Exactly. Good luck trying to convince people what the president is actually supposed to do. It's like everyone who took middle school Government class just blocked out the original responsibilities or had terrible teachers.

How about this novel idea: Get us the hell out of Iraq, Afganistan, and all the other countries we occupy for no reason. Think about how much money that would save.

Oh, yeah, and how about proposing a 1% national sales tax to pay down our debt to China?
