Apparently Ron Paul recently gave $2,300 to this guys campaign from the Ron Paul for President Campaign. This was in the Dallas Morning News.

He is running in the 23rd Congressional District of Texas, and apparently has about $35000.

In another federal race, Republican congressional candidate Lyle Larson got a slice of campaign money that Ron Paul, the Libertarian-leaning Texas congressman, raised while making a failed bid this year to be the Republican presidential nominee.

Paul's presidential campaign committee gave Larson $2,300 for his challenge of Democratic incumbent Rep. Ciro Rodriguez in the 23rd Congressional District, according to Larson's FEC report.

Paul won few votes in his primary race, but was an Internet darling and at times during the primary bested his Republican rivals in money raising.

Larson, a Bexar County commissioner, raised a total $69,480 for the three months ending Sept. 30. and spent $62,065.

With money left over from previous fundraising periods, Larson had $34,700 in the bank.

Rodriguez's report had not been posted by the FEC by late Wednesday afternoon. His spokesman Josh Rosenblum said Rodriguez is reporting raising $262,656 over the three-month period with about $717,000 cash on hand.

Anyone know much about him?

Larson just introduced the anti-NDAA bill in Texas.
