Europe and Asia markets are tanking...

With the US tanking today I see some rough times coming pretty soon.

I mean rougher times. It really is scary all the government intervention going on.

Not trying to be an ass, but since the government is taking ownership takes in banks, is there anything left to intervene in? sorry stupid question (of course the gov. can do more!)

i agree that rougher times as far as lifestyle changes are coming though. ideologically, its as bad as its going to get when the gov. can pretty much do anything..

These are true sucker rallies. All the addicted gamblers are going to lose their money come hell or highwater. Only when (not even a matter of 'if' at this point) the money leaves the weak/stupid hands, will there be capitulation. Until then grab a tub of popcorn. Just you watch all the people around you keep saying now's a great time to get in!

And I'm laughing.. LOL..

Sorry (about the trillions..)

I can't wait to see Maria Bartiromo cry tomorrow. It's going to be awesome.

Yup. All the public companies have too much exposure, either directly or indirectly, to OTC derivatives (http://www.runtogold.com/Run_To_Gold/Run_To_Gold_Blog/Entries/2008/6/25_Counter-Party_Risk_v._Performance_Risk.html).

With the way things are going maybe the Myans were on to something. Every day that goes by End of the world in 2012 seems more plausible.. :p

Of course foreign markets are down- they follow the US market, not the other way around.

She's pretty hot. I like her and Erin Burnett. :)

Well, things haven't held true to the old norms here recently. What happens next is anybody's guess*.
