that all voters can understand to get new blood into office. something like "Time for the good-ole boys to retire". something simple. or ... "are you better off today then 4 years ago".

the average voter reacts on feelings rather then issues and i'm afraid that alot of the advertising being put out by RP candidates is preaching to the choir.

just my 2 cents.

slogans need to be targeted to the audience.

Second, I'd say that preaching to the choir in politics is called "energizing your base".

That's why some messages work well with hard core supporters that go over other people's heads. Going over people's head is a problem sometimes we face.
