He says it at the end.

"They'd rather have cigarettes than money!"

He was a real fireball! :D

Wow! That was a great speech!

Too bad Ron doesn't have eternal youth, he would have been viewed more favorably in the primaries if he was younger I think. But the system is rigged anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.:(

Show this video to any doofus who says Ron Paul is part of the NWO or a distraction/trap etc. The man has been doing this for longer than most of us have been alive!

I think I'd rather have paper than cigarettes, but for a different reason. :D

I doubt we will ever see a man so void of malice or vice, yet so humble and wise. I would be a lesser man if it weren't for Paul... it sounds cheesy but I feel like I owe him.

Jeez...I was 7 when he delivered this speech. He really hasn't changed a bit other than graying hair.

I wasn't born yet. Heh.

I was born about two weeks after he got 500,000 votes when he ran for president. :D

Actually I'll be twenty. Thank you nonetheless.

Maybe I'll try that after the "race of 2009". :D

I had a roomate of mine in college go to jail for DUI and he was telling me how in jail cigarettes were currency. They would often time gamble and packs of cigarettes were what they would bet on. Those who had the most cigarettes (and were able to guard them) usually ruled the place.

Oh -

and in TN they were stopping people at the borders and searching vehicles looking for people importing cigarettes. The tax is so high that people were driving to Alabama and KY, buying a truck full of cigarettes, and then selling them in TN for a large profit.

I was going to make that point. Cigarettes will be more valuable than money if the economy goes crashing down..for barter power. I plan to by a bunch of cartons of cheap cigarettes and coffee and tea..maybe sugar...especially cigarettes...tones

Kind of makes me think of those "Victory cigarettes" in 1984. Real high-quality stuff. :D
