actually, the story of Ron Paul would would be a pretty cool screenplay or documentary.

Or the story of "The Crash of an Empire" that includes Fannie, the CRA, Barney Frank and Dodd, ACORN, the bailout, media corruption, the FED, the Patriot Act, and violation of Posse Comitatus, the REAL ID Act, and how the Government has spent us and socialized us into oblivion.

I wouldn't even make it a Right Wing or Left Wing movie because corruption is bipartisan. haha

It would be cool if the facts were revealed in a way that allowed the viewer to go on their own ideological journey and realize for themselves what is happening.

he should have just said "someone put a lot of effort into this, so let me make sure they go broke after I make sure you don't have to buy it and just put it on YouTube for everyone"

I can rip/hack/steal any software/show/movie i want... but I do support companies who put out content I like by buying their product.
If I don't, and they go out of business. I am partly to blame.

well i wouldnt even care with this one because this doesn't look like any original work, just compilation

They took some still photos of me, but they didn't interview me with a video camera... at least, not that I know of...
I wouldn't expect i'd be important enough for a documentary on Ron Paul.
I wasn't the sole driving force behind our efforts in Louisiana. The whole time, I felt like it was us running for office... so I was motivated to do whatever I could... not for ego or anything like that.. but because I've been working in the LP for 12 years... butting my head against a wall. Ron Paul gave me hope...

I've seen all of these clips before (many of them live) but it is nice to see them packaged together like this.

However, in rewatching these moments through eyes of hindsight, it appears that a real change took place in the New Hampshire debates where Ron Paul started to be looked at as fringe by his view on foreign policy.

He was cheered (even by many in the media) when talking about defending the Constitution and the message of Freedom and even Economic conservative policies... but there were at least two MAJOR arguments between Giuliani and Ron Paul about foreign policy that I believe were a turning point.

Ron held his ground and stuck to his convictions but they all ganged up on him, and discredited him. Soon after, the media REALLY began labeling him as the fringe-longshot-radical candidate.

This isn't to say that there wouldn't have been other obstacles but I believe that he stepped on a foreign policy landmind that he couldn't recover from.

Ironically, the same thing that attracts many of us to Ron Paul, is the same reason why he couldn't win. He has always stuck to his principles and has shown tremendous courage. For good or bad, he isn't willing to side-step a few of these questions and play the game. I hate to say it but it is like many of those reality shows where you have to get through elimination rounds. One bad step early on and you're done.

Look at McCain in the early rounds. He just kept his head down and let the others hang themselves. He didn't say much of anything and the conservative vote was split between Ron Paul, Huckabee, and Thompson.

I don't say this as anything against Ron Paul. I admire all he has done. He woke me up and changed my life. But I hope that we can all learn from some of our mistakes and be better prepared. I hope our next Freedom candidate can learn how to avoid some of these landmines in the early parts of the race and gain some momentum.

Ron Paul was getting widespread praise when he was talking about Freedom, Liberty, Individual Rights, and a Conservative Limited Government. Unfortunately, the second some of the more controversial topics came up, they took every opportunity to crucify him.
