Canada is having it's Federal election today, and I have no idea who to vote for.

I've been looking up all of the parties and none of them mention squat about the NAU.

Where is Canada's Ron Paul???

I might just cast an empty ballot

yeah it sucks the little cherces we got. The closest party that is nearest to RP is the Conservative Party, They just suck balls on forign affairs but the NDP and the Liberals suck just as much balls or even more on "forign interventionism" honestly though it dont matter if you vote or not unless your voting for the small parties who need you to vote in order to get somemoney and stay alive . The Big four parties dont need money as much as the " Freedom party,Heritage party,canadian action party and the Canadian libertarion party" all of these partys depend on votes in order to stay alive. You could always split your vote by voting "small party locally " and voting for the closet candidate to a RP freedom ideology that would be Stephen Harper by alot as much as that sounds funny , RP has way more in common with Harper then the other three Big Govt parties ,aside from his mid-east policy actually Harper shares alot more in common with RP on economics then Mccain and bush combined its scary aint it , shows how shitty our cherces are when the best big party guy is Stephen Harper the waterboyLOL!!! Anyway dont stress over todays elections it really isn't fuckup worth it, The only reason to go vote for me is cause I enjoy the weather outside Thats It , if they weather sucked bad I wouldnt see any reason to get your bowels in an uproar to vote LOL

Apparently, even the US can't have OUR Ron Paul. I wish you luck and am sorry to learn there is no clear leader to help you and your country during this rather rough period of time. . We get rather insular in our concerns, sometimes. You are our neighbors to the north and we wish you well.

I really think Ron Paul would do great in Canada , Alot of canadians like harpers messge of low taxes and small gov't but dont like Harpers pro-war views hence why he losses alot of votes and only gets a minority gov't if Ron Paul ran instead of Harper his anti-intervention message would bring the party a majority gov't . Canadians like what RP says and his policy on Iraq and afghanistan would send him the votes harper Is always losing out to the other pro-interventionist pro-big gov't party who use the anti-war rhetoric as a tool to mislead people on there pro- intervention forign policy

I am lucky enough to be in a riding with a Libertarian Party candidate. So I'll be voting for her. Otherwise, I'd likely spoil my ballot.

Either way, I plan to make a bit of a scene. :) This election campaign has been a travesty, and I'm bordering on ashamed to live in such a country.

Hey UK needs a Ron Paul too, the 6 main parties are all socialists, and that's not even including the Socialist Workers Party or the Communist Party....And in the end there's only ever going to be 1 of the 2 main parties, Conservative and Labour, that are going to win, as with most modern supposedly morally superior "democracies".

What about the new United Kingdom Libertarian Party? I hope they get seats next year, since it will be their first General Election.

BTW, Isn't it a lot harder in parliamentary systems to infiltrate parties than here in the US?

Well maybe the guy ya voted for wasn't so bad there are a few RP types in the party I'm sure of it. I also voted for conservative , I looked for the freedom party or a libertarion candidate but there was none , but compared to the Lib,Greenies,and NDPukes it was the easiest vote ever and the local guy seemed like really nice humble type guy. Just stay positive buddy that the Neo-cons will leave the conservative party like they always do and then all the good paleo-libertarions will take hold of the struggling party and hold on and not lose it back LOL

Why is that weak ? So if Ron Paul says he doesn't support "9/11 "Truth" and ran on the Conservative Party ticket in canada and myself and that other guy voted conservative for him you'd think that was weak? Because you do know that there is a huge possibility that some of the people running in the Canadian conservative party do agree with Ron Paul when he speaks on the importance of small gov't and economic liberty .infact I know people who are in the conservative party in Canada and people who vote for them who see RP as great. Can I ask you a simple honest question ? If the NDP or Liberals all supported "9/11 truth" would you consider voting for them? Thats my question thanks in advance

didn't you hear about Harper making a deal with the EU? That's exactly how the UK got dragged in, with a 20 year old trade deal. (I'll go dig it up)

ok found it;

I know about all that but you must of misunderstood what I'm saying . I said there are most likely people who are running in the conservative party in Canada who think Ron Paul ideas on small govt are great, and I know a bunch of canadians who vote or have voted conservative who also think Ron is great I and that other person are ones, Im just saying let's hope some RP types are running on the ticket so that we can have the paleos influence the party again, you know sorta like how RP is encouraging others to join the repub party to help influence it even more I dont see anything weak or wrong about voting for RP types who want small gov't and economic liberty . Thanks for the link though maybe others who havnt here'd of the spp/nau stuff in Canada could take a look
