It already crashed. Down 22% in a week is a crash. It will probably rebound slightly before crashing some more over the next few weeks.

Asia markets are going up - I say a gain or even tomorrow - long term I think it will go down more - ultimately 5-6000 range

The present crash will continue as a gradual decline, peppered with occasional small gains, over the next six months, at which point it will plateau for three months, and then begin gradually to rise again, with the DJI reaching a new high of just over 14,000 on or around May 16, 2011.

While I agree with you... things could get a lot worse very quickly. Lets hope not.

It will most likely crash over the next few weeks, but it may somewhat rally over the next week or so.

Just my prediction.

When adjusted for inflation, the market has been crashing since 2000. You don't even need to adjust when considering NASDAQ.

Because so many people think that the stock market is CLOSED tomorrow, which it isn't, I predict that it will NOT crash tomorrow.

But maybe Tuesday.

:p:p

I actually think we might see a rally tmrw.. I think it will also depend on what's announced of the meetings over the weekend..

Um.. options 2 and 3 are the same.. lol.

Other: been crashing for a year (8-8-2007: 14,000+ 8-8-2008: 9,200)

tomorrow will be a slight rebound due to this weekend's world financial meeting(s). but the sell-off will be back in full effect in the next few days.

I don't think the market will be open tomorrow.

From wikipedia:

Since 1971, the holiday has been commemorated in the U.S. on the second Monday in October, the same day as Thanksgiving in neighboring Canada. It is generally observed today by banks, the bond market, the U.S. Postal Service and other federal agencies, most state government offices, and many school districts; however, most businesses and stock exchanges remain open.

Can't pick it will crash before the election, but not tomorrow (or at least, any worse tomorrow)
