Some of us anti-war folks may not appreciate how the site mentioned by the OP makes a to-do about RP's military service and Obama's lack thereof. Just sayin.

With the state of the GOP right now, Ron Paul supporters are going to be in a position to exert some real influence on its post-election direction. If Dr. Paul were 10-15 years younger, he would be in a very good position to try again for the nomination in 2012 and unseat an incumbent Obama. Realistically, though, it will have to be someone other than Paul to carry this movement forward as a presidential candidate next cycle. More and more people are open to a sound-money message, and if the right person comes along to embody it, sound money could be one of the dominant topics of the 2012 campaign. I can almost envision a tribute to Ron Paul and the warnings he gave America at the 2012 GOP convention, as well as Dr. Paul giving the keynote speech. He may not have won the nomination, but his economic ideas come out of this looking smarter than ever.

I think it's important for Republicans who ignored or opposed Paul in the primaries to start thinking in terms of financial & political realities. With the right messenger, 2012 could bring the real "change" the USA needs.

There's no contest; Paul ALL the way.

As far as I can tell, when the media character assassinated Paul, the two mainstream candidates split up his message between them. He represents the best of both worlds

It helps compliment that Ron Paul is against the wars and has been in the military whereas Obama has never done any military and is all for war.

I'll finish it eventually.

If someone wants to help finish it, that would be good, because I'm working on another liberty-related project for Australians.

Obviously the primaries are over but it would be good to have it there just to show the Obama zombies that they were wrong.

Also, some goof copied the site and added pay-click banners and so on.

Here is the fraud version http://obamavspaul.com/

My version is http://obamavpaul.com (without the 's' in 'vs')

So if anyone wants to finish it then PM or email me.

I fail to see where he copied you, the Google cache shows the page has looked like that since February 11th, 2008. But the obamavpaul.com Domain wasn't registered until June 2008.

Yeah, I misread. It's still not completely copied though because they have different points throughout even if the banner was ripped.

I guess I've become an Obama supporter recently. I believe he will undo a lot of what Bush did. No, it's still not enough, not as much as Ron Paul would do. But the site is fantastic as a learning tool. There's nothing like seeing actual videotaped statements BY the parties themselves and then you deciding for yourself.

The main thing I don't like about Obama is his equivocation. The "we'll see" attitude. He was marketed as a clean slate type of commodity. So we don't really know what he'll do. But we can't know what anyone will do until they do it. Look at what Reagan said he would do, and then did the opposite. And W. Same exact thing. Barack has said he will get the troops out ASAP, leaving only enough to protect an embassy and for counter terrorism. Would you want less? Even Ron couldn't safely remove all the troops faster than 1 1/2 years. If al Qaeda built terrorist training camps afterward, would we attack them, or keep a small force to keep it from happening there in the first place?

And the Patriot Act vote, the most serious error in my view, was for the Senate amendments right? Those were meant to fix the worst of the problems weren't they? Then the House cut those amendments out completely right? Refresh my memory.

But it was a step in the right direction. Website fails to clarify.
