Hi, I've been lurking the forums for a while now and I right now I am just so mad.

I was a little bored so I went to check out ron paul videos on youtube. And I was reminded of the way FOX news treated Paul back in the primaries.

It's so unfair that just because Ron Paul doesn't have the same viewpoints as him, they smear him, bash him, and treat him like an outsider.

I mean, not everyone has to agree with you for you guys to get along right? Free speech is what made this country great. Why do you guys think FOX treated Ron Paul that way?

He is against their (at that moment) current pet project/issue that they used to vilify their sworn 'liberal democrat' enemies, and RP was "all up in their" party telling them/their viewers that they were not, by definition, conservative at all!!

What ever happened with the 'Romney Whisper'? Was it just blown off as an acoustic anomaly?

And to the original poster, welcome. I too was a lurker but was compelled to join to make a point that it wasn't the media (the majority of the forum members didn't think it was just FOX) but the GOP should be held accountable for whoring out their nomination procedure to corporate media. But the forum kept bitching about the media and then it was "Ron Paul Republicans" but I think more people agree that the 2 party system is a charade as Paul called it at his '3rd party press conference".

Because Fox News is the government's propaganda network.

"the" ? I fail to see how the other networks were any better to him.

People who own Fox News are the people who own most of the politicians.

They don't like someone not in their pocket getting lots of national recognition, at all.

There have been libertarian leaning people around before, none got treated like RP did though. He doesn't play the lobby selling your vote games so he is a threat.

I feel you. I HATE Fox news. The censoring of Paul from the NH debate and his response on electiblility made me cancel my cable. Paul gets more airtime now that he isnt a threat to the nomination than he ever did before the primaries.

If you look what Paul accomplished, he should have been front page news. He broke his own fundraising record in a month, he had a best selling book and the largest grassroots support. Yet, the MSM smeared him at every chance they got.

Thomas Jefferson was right. 'Advertisements are the only truths to be relied upon in newspapers.'

They weren't for the most part. Our media is just plain disgusting and failing to do the duties the people have entrusted them with.

Do not feel too bad. After all, FOX wanted Ghouliani and Romney. They did not get their way and now are STUCK with McInSane. Yeah!!!!!!!!! That's for you FAUX News (Raspberry)

Can you imagine how crappy that makes them feel? :D:D:D:D

Plus now they have to get Dr. Paul on to legitimize their economic disaster news and boost their ratings. :)

Excuse me , but FAUX News totally blacked him out and eliminated him from a debate in NH.

They completely made Dr. Paul disappear for months.

They were completely unfair. Even when he won debates they lied.

They tried to paint Ron Paul as a radical and accused him of sympathising with Al Qaeda. Remember the Fox Debate he was in and what Chris Wallace asked; "so you are taking your marching orders from Al Qaeda?"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHLnP8VuoV4

Sean Hannity was making a huge deal about it before that too when RP stated we wouldn't have been attacked on 9-11 if it weren't for our interventionist policies.

The neocons start the same fear mongering every time they are afraid of a candidates popularity. (they are doing this with Obama now) It's the old....." You are with US or you are with the TERRORISTS".

Sickening, too bad most of the public can't see through it.

You can hate FOX more if you like, but the blackout was media-wide. It's a systemic problem not limited to Fox, and arguing over FOX or MSNBC is like arguing over democrats or republicans. It turns out that none of them are on your side.

I agree...all of the media is globalist controlled. This forum is stuck on hate for conservatives and that is why I suspect they are closet obamabots. Are you willing to make the sacrifice of cancelling your cable tv to protest and stop the brainwashing from global elites? I did. tones

I don't think anyone would disagree with a SINGLE point you've made above, however if you didn't notice the same tactics on the other networks, they pulled quite a fast one on you.
