I'm not intimately familiar with the Ron Paul presidential campaign, so I wonder if someone can answer this question: What happened to all the money he/we raised during the primaries? Was it spent already? If not, can it be used in the C4L? Or does it remain in Dr. Paul's "war chest" for a future campaign? There was a whole lotta dough there, and I'd feel better knowing that it's going for a good purpose.

Ron and I went out one night and spent it all getting coked-up and buying lap dances. It was sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, that would be the libertarian way, but I can't believe you spent more than about $100,000 in a single night. So where's the rest of it?

It's going toward the Campaign for Liberty.

Is that a fact? Can a candidate raise money for a presidential campaign and then spend it on a non-profit group instead?

That's okay with me. I just want to know if that is, in fact, legal and what is really happening to the money.

That's nice. How nice of you to chime in with your lack of an answer.

Thanks, dickhead. I just searched for "money raised primaries c4l," which I thought was a reasonably good set of keywords for the subject I'm asking about, and guess which thread came up first?

This one. Very helpful. Spank you very much.

I'm going to assume that no one knows where the money went. Least of all the smartasses who think my question is "funny" and who advise using the Search function, but who can't provide anything like an answer themselves.

The money went to the Committee to Re-elect Ron Paul. It didn't go to the C4L.

Presidential campaigns are expensive and overrated.

Hi and welcome to the forums! His money went to support his future Congressional campaigns (worth it) and funding his new organization that is promoting liberty across party lines (also worth it).

Thank you to those who actually bothered to answer the question.

I was sure Dr. Paul put it to good use. I just didn't know what use.

Peace.
