Should I make a chip-in?

On the issue: Stickers that read, "VOTED FOR THE BAILOUT!"

At the current quote:

3.75"x7.5"
Prints 1 color
1,000=$.31 ea.
2,500=$.19 ea.
5,000=$.13 ea.
10,000=$.10 ea.

RUSH SERVICE AVAILABLE
STANDARD LEAD TIME 5-7 DAYS

Some sizes and quantities still under discussion. November 4th is 3 calendar weeks away, minus one day. We have 20 days.

IF the supplier can drop-ship to several distribution points, given 7 days from Thursday, 8 October, that puts delivery on 16 October. So by 16 October have canvassers ready to target homes with political signs. "Pre-work the neighborhoods, driving around and nothing addresses. Remember folks, being political, this is all legal.

Canvass those homes with information about the bailout, and how the Taft-Goldwater school of the GOP agrees with Peter Shiff. Bemoan the effects of the bailout, and then volunteer to attach your stickers on the bottom of their yard sign, obstructing nothing.

They may say yes, they will probably say no. In either case, they, the very ones who will be the ones making many important decisions over the next 12 years, will have a lot to chew on.

Then starting 30 October, we begin hitting their right-of-way signs -- the smalls with the smalls, and their big ones with the bigger ones. Continuing the canvass to a lesser degree (for manpower reasons only) but continuing to interact with the community.

Organize events on Oct 18, 25, and Nov 1. Invite the whole community. Give stickers away to the general public.

Form a major protest for November 4th, midnight to midnight, like a 24 hr vigil. "Vote the Bums Out" because they bailed out their lobbyists bosses! Direct them to a website where they can track the political careers of all "Yes" voters for the next 20 years. /hyperbole

Point being, we can make this moment in history the fulcrum. This is one of the most obvious examples in United States History of Congress refusing to pay heed to their electorate, and everything going horribly wrong as a result.

"They didn't listen to us, and now it's broken. It's time to vote the bums out. All of them. Let them know what their Billionaire Bailout has cost them!"

Push all the "Yes" voters out nationwide, and it 1) sends a message to Congress; and 2) opens one heck of a lot of opportunities for RP-auliticians to grab onto.

Keep public record of shutting down the "Yea's" and voting out the encumbants, where every citizen can track the results.

Will you canvas BJs area with this? It needs to be put in the voters face. Good idea.

Is this JUST going to say "VOTED FOR THE BAILOUT!" or will it say "VOTED FOR THE BAILOUT / VOTE THE BUMS OUT 2008" per your post (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showpost.php?p=1747274&postcount=123) in the other thread (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=160792)?

I didn't like the dimensions of that sticker and tried to make that size work. Another quote has 3x11 inch at 11 cents with 10,000 and would look right with just "voted for the bailout" alone

I think we should do the 3x11 sticker. It will fit on campaign signs better without covering up the candidate's name too much.

i like the idea of going guerrilla and using the stencil and spray paint... cheaper and can be done asap... stickers would be great, but i think our financial resources should go to the people we're trying to elect...
