So we have the $700 Billion dollar bailout which is only going to make things worse. What about the Federal Reserve not charging us interest on the money they print for us for a year or two. That would be nice. I know they are greedy bankers, but shouldn't the loss come out of their hide, not the average Joe?

You answered your own question.

...they are greedy bankers...

The Fed is used as a way to transfer wealth out of the citizens' pockets. Why would they give up that power, even temporarily?

The Federal Reserve apparently gives back the interest it collects to the government in the form of a rebate.. That doesn't make our monetary system any less fraudulent, because the Federal Reserve is made up of member banks, and they end up loaning that money to themselves who use it as reserve to create more currency and charge interest on that.. so the Fed is basically just a front for the privatized banking industry.

I guess the only way they would do that is if the people wake the f#ck up, get informed, and demand that the country be returned to the state the founding fathers intended.

With the power of the "gun" behind them, why should they?
