It is taking place next month, on the 14-16 in Manchester, New Hampshire. I really like the idea of secession from the United States if we can get it off of the ground. The people are angry, and get angrier by the day, and they will in the coming administration as well, whether it is the Democan or the Republicrat.

I was hoping one of the free staters would attend and give us a report.

Me, too. The USA is too divided. We need a confederacy or if that fails, separate nations.

My personal secession movement would be the South as a whole. We are a divided people and I do believe it would be better if we parted ways and made our own decisions on matters that divide America down the middle, but most states are on one side or the other on.

Do you consider the desert southwest (the "sunbelt") part of "The South"? This region is also much different than the rest of the country and has similar conflicts with the federal gov'ment, and would probably do well to secede also. :D

They joined with the South last time, why not this time?

LoL, if you guys succeed from the union than you know what I would say? What would you call your country and would you succeed states still be called The Confederacy? I dont know if succession would be good, because than it reminds me of this video game about a second American Civil War. We need to be a people united, not divided, united as a whole to oust the bureaucrats in DC as well as those behind the scenes.

If that fails, then we go to secession!

Yeah, succession is a bad thing. The laws of primogeniture combined with statute authority are confusing. However, this is the secession convention.

Makes sense since our federal government wants to show itself as something that is bigger and more demanding than the state governments.
