I can also vouch for Bill, He's a great guy running on a anti-tax ticket. His opponent has no substance. Her website has a recipe for Chicken Marsala on the front page for pete's sake! Please do whatever you can to support Bill Johnson.

Here's a recent interview from a local paper with Bill Johnson: http://www.post-trib.com/news/elections/lake/1175501,STREPD19.article

My favorite answer:

What is the most pressing issue facing our nation? Fortunately, the State of Indiana does not have a financial printing press as the U.S. does. The root of the U.S. problem is two-fold. Unbridled spending combined with the ability to borrow or print money into existence, which is the direct cause of inflation. I believe that free enterprise and unbridled competition among providers in a free market ultimately gives the greatest choice and value to the end-consumer and market growth.
Although government believes it is a positive force, we have to remember, there is nothing that government can’t do half as well for twice as much.

Therefore, at a minimum we need to:

1. Reduce the size of federal and state government and their related taxes. There is empirical evidence that when taxes are cut, economies prosper and in many cases, tax revenues increase.

2. End the Federal Reserve’s artificial control of interest rates and their inflationary policies that, at a minimum, dampen our economic system.
