Recall is BETTER than Impeachment

Recall IS a proper proceedure for removing elected officials although difficult to accomplish. You can read about the history of recall here. Remember, Gray Davis, the California governer was recalled...that was successful, but you reallly have to have your case sewn up..and solid...tones

Here is a history of the Recall election....it seems our dear Federalists, particularly HAMILTON (who was a BIG government guy) convinced them to strike the Recall Election out of the Constitution. He caused a LOT of problems...the Anti Federalists wanted the Recall Election included in the Constitution, but of course...the Anti Federalists were not invited to the Constitution Convention.

Nope...can't Recall federal elected officials. Too bad. The Federalists made sure the people coudln't do SQUAT! The only way is to try to convince people to vote them out when their terms are up. This SUCKS! We don't really have any recourse. Tones

That's why recall was an created. A nonviolent way to get rid of an elected official.
