Nice. I'm glad they're contributing to the presidential candidates instead of making sure their companies are privately viable. I wouldn't want any of them investing any of their money into their own companies to make sure they kept their employer viable in a "free market economy".

Time to start the Impeachment 2009 campaign. What I can't believe is that after this information hits the news and circulates, people will STILL vote for either one of these two clowns

Are those numbers representing lobbyist money, or are they pooling individual contributions?

For example, you could say the "US Military" donated hundreds of thousands to Ron Paul's campaign, but the military as an organization didn't do it, individuals did (and they happened to belong to the military).

As per the source given by the OP, it was their PAC (Politic Action Committee) that had their members and immediate family members, and employees donating. They just bundled them to get the large amounts shown.

Ron Paul is a racist because Don Black gave him $500.

Umm, shutup.

Do you not know how this shit works? Didn't you see the memo from the CEO of Dow Chemical on the bailout? They "encourage" employees to donate and they know who was naughty or nice.

Ron Paul is a racist because Don Black gave him $500.Except that Ron doesn't vote based upon who gives money to him. We know that, they know that, his donors know that, etc.

$500 is a little different than a quarter million.

I bet Don Black wasn't the only racist that donated to him.
