All four Ron Paul Republicans in MD will be attending!

Rich Matthews (MD-2)
Peter James (MD-4)
Collins Bailey (MD-5)
Mike Hargadon (MD-7)

Even in a bluer than blue state like MD, people are getting tired of the same old tune. Ron Paul's economic predictions are starting to resonate with the populace. I was with Mike in inner city Baltimore yesterday and the people were very favorable towards him. The conventional wisdom might say we have little chance, but there's something brewing among the people here.

If you can make it, come on out and show your support!

Next week, Thursday, October 9th, there is a big event in College Park, Maryland. Ron Paul will be headlining a Rally and Fundraiser for Maryland Republican Congressional candidates. Each of the four liberty candidates, Collins Bailey, Richard Matthews, Peter James, and Mike Hargadon, will speak at this event then Ron will wrap it up with a speech of his own. This event has been in the works for quite a while. Patrick Citroni, a good friend who we recently lost in a motorcycle accident, was a major player in getting this event to happen. Ron Paul has endorsed all four Maryland liberty candidates because they clearly believe in limited Constitutional Government, sound money, a humble foreign policy of no nation building, and an adherence to the principles of Liberty that make this nation great. This event is for Ron to reiterate his endorsements of our candidates and to show Maryland that they're the clear choice for Congressman.

Where: Comcast Center Pavilion Gym at the University of Maryland in College Park
When: 7:30PM Thursday October 9th.
Cost: at the door, General Admission is $25, Students (with ID) $5.

Additionally, VIP sponsors are welcome to attend a private reception with Dr. Paul and Maryland Congressional Candidates starting at 6:30PM, for the cost of $150.

A hotline has been established with the latest details regarding this event. (240) 744-7446

Directions to the Comcast Center see: http://www.mdgridiron.umd.edu/maryland/directions/Comcast.html

Cool. The fifth one (Steve Hudson) hasn't been endorsed by Ron Paul. But it should be interesting to hear his speech. I don't know too much about him.

Hey Harold, I kind of pulled a Mell since time is running out and I didn't see anything posted from the Liberty Pac or the C4L. I left my stuff at home, so I had Cecilia contact them today and then they sent out that email.

On the Daily Paul link you quoted, it says that Thomas Pinkston-Harris is going to be there. Is that true?

Ingrid,

I was on the conference call tonight with Jesse Benton, and Steve Hudson (MD-8) has been endorsed. He was very excited to be a part.

Thomas "Pinkston" Harris (MD-3) might attend. If so, he will be recognized, but he is not endorsed and will not speak.

I was the MC of the event. It was great, I'd say we had around 500 people there on short notice. Great speech by all the candidates and Dr. Paul.

You did a great job as MC. The sound was a bit funky (due to the venue), but it was excellent.

And as a poor student, I certainly appreciated the discount.

That was a good video.

Yeah, the same thing happened with the Revolution March. Press TV (Iranian) covered it, but there was very little American press. It's a shame that more of our local TV stations and newspapers weren't there.

Richard Mathews, running in Maryland District 2, did an awesome job on WBAL radio this afternoon.

Also, the Oct 9 event was covered in the Maryland Gazette.
