Here's a sample ballot from San Mateo County in CA. No Baldwin. but there is a write-in option.

I thought Baldwin was the American Independent here in CA.

Now I need to find out if they will count write-ins. I might vote for RP!

Guess I wasn't paying attention for the last couple of months.

No Baldwin in CA.

Alan Keyes instead.

Chuck Baldwin has registered as a write-in candidate in California, so write-in votes for him WILL be counted.

I have a question:

How does gay marriage affect revenue from sales taxes?

Edit: Page 3 of the sample ballot.

This is accurate.

Does this imply that a write-in for RP would not be counted?

That is correct. You have to sign up as a write in candidate to be counted. A write in vote for Ron Paul will not be counted.

Just a wild guess and nothing else is that couples spend more?
