it is congressman Jim McDermott, Democrat from Washington.

what's up with that?

all his statements on his website are outdated, there isn't even one about the first bailout bill.

Gee, guess he suddenly woke up!

Or, perhaps he didn't like all the pork . . . .

i think the quote i saw from him prior to the first vote was something like, "the calls into my office are 50-50; 50% no and 50% HELL NO." i was surprised he voted yes the first time.

He's anti-war, i think - and probably anti-drug war, and his seat is as safe as it gets (he's a lifer, despite being fined for recording phone calls or something like that a few years ago).

Perhaps he could be a revolutionary, he's incredibly liberal though. Seattle.

Bob Inglis (R-SC) switched his vote from no to yes. I know I lit his office up after the first no and threatened to not just not vote for him, but to volunteer for the opposition. Plus I made sure he knew I was a precinct committeeman in the GOP.
