I called mine from TN today but since I have never called my senators before I am not certain I made my point properly. I am hoping someone can let me know if what I did was good/bad since I will be calling my house rep again soon.

I called Senator Alexander R-TN on the line listed in the sticky and after a couple rings someone picked up. They were quiet and sounded like they had been yelled at, so I just said Im calling from TN and I wanted to urge the senator to vote NO on the bailout bill.

that's good. include, in friendly terms, that you and your family and friends will never vote for whomever if that person votes for the bailout bill - in any form.

I wasnt sure if that was enough, or if had to ask to talk to someone specific...

Thanks for the quick reply
