Don't look at it as R or D. Looka t it as who is up for re-election this year and in close contests.

I took my own advise here is a list of the Senators up for re-election this year, and how they voted.

Dem
3.2.1 Mark Pryor of Arkansas Y
3.2.2 Joe Biden of Delaware Y
3.2.3 Dick Durbin of Illinois Y
3.2.4 Tom Harkin of Iowa Y
3.2.5 Mary Landrieu of Louisiana N
3.2.6 John Kerry of Massachusetts Y
3.2.7 Carl Levin of Michigan Y
3.2.8 Max Baucus of Montana Y
3.2.9 Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey Y
3.2.10 Jack Reed of Rhode Island Y
3.2.11 Tim Johnson of South Dakota N
3.2.12 Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia Y

GOP
3.3.1 Jeff Sessions of Alabama N
3.3.2 Ted Stevens of Alaska Y
3.3.3 Saxby Chambliss of Georgia Y
3.3.4 Pat Roberts of Kansas N
3.3.5 Mitch McConnell of Kentucky Y
3.3.6 Susan Collins of Maine Y
3.3.7 Norm Coleman of Minnesota Y
3.3.8 Thad Cochran of Mississippi N
3.3.9 Roger Wicker of Mississippi N
3.3.10 John Sununu of New Hampshire Y
3.3.11 Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina N
3.3.12 Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma N
3.3.13 Gordon Smith of Oregon Y
3.3.14 Lindsey Graham of South Carolina Y
3.3.15 Lamar Alexander of Tennessee Y
3.3.16 John Cornyn of Texas Y
3.3.17 Michael Enzi of Wyoming N
3.3.18 John Barrasso of Wyoming N

Hmm, I'm surprised. Being up for re-election appears to have been irrelevant.

Hard to believe that Mary "please give my post-Katrina state a blank check" Landrieu and Russ "all your campaign speech are belong to us" Feingold voted "No" to the continuance of the socialist/fascist takeover of the nation, even if they may be up for re-election...

Yeah, I was going to say, both Louisiana senators voted NO! They must be scared, at least a little bit.

Russ Feingold ain't that bad, although I don't agree with McCain-Feingold, he's the ONLY senator to oppose the patriot act.
