My congressman won't vote for this POS legislation. But I'll be calling those who voted for the last piece even if I'm not in their district because their vote affects ALL of us!

I hope the opposition to this bill in the House are off and recruiting tonight. We can't afford to lose any of those Dems that voted NO with the Conservatives. We also need to try and get back some of those Republicans that voted Yes the first time.
This is scary shit, yo. :(
Tomorrow we find out who is really in charge.

Tom Tancredo? Listen to what he says in this interview about one aspect of the bail out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs2XI-IFGm0
Why would he vote for it if he feels this way about it? Are you sure he's an aye?

We do not need this kind of self-defeating pessimism.

I have, many, many times. The traitors are not listening.

I think the ones who voted for it should be tried for treason and publicly lynched in Time's Square on the 5 o'clock news while the crowd chants and throws fruit

Look, there are going to be Repubs that are going to flip flop on this and vote yay this time around. We need to obviously target those folks and those in tight reelection bids, but some of our best hopes may come down to how many of these blue dog dems that voted yay before will stick to their own principles and vote no because of the action of the Senate.
http://www.bluedogdems.com/members.html
We need sme of these blue dogs to turn to offset the flip floppers.
Remember also that the hard left share common ground against this bill. Speaker Pelosi may not even being this bill to the floor if they cannot drum up the support. Overwelm her offices as well.
Make sure to call both the DC offices as well as the ones in their local districts.

Just called Renzi. The guy who answered the phone sounded exhausted :D
Also called McCain and told him that because of his vote yesterday I was going to vote third party. I obviously wasn't going to vote for him anyway but I wanted him to know that he screwed up.

Bloomberg TV just reported that Bush has called congressmen&women who voted against the bailout on Monday and said "they will be 'yes' votes".
Seems to me like Bush isn't ready to step down. Suspended election, anyone?
