View Full Version : After the Senate votes, will this Bank Robber bill go to the House?
I'm not clear on that. I need to know if I should continue to put pressure on my Rep, or should I just focus on my Senator (a traitor).

It better. If not, then it's almost time for open rebellion.

If they change the bill (and they have) it has to go back to the house.

i thought it only had to go back to the house if the president rejects it

Per Sen. Grassley if correct,
The Senate bill being drafted was expected to be more than $100 billion more
than the $700-billion measure that failed.
The screw job gets worse by the minute.

Changes by the Senate have to be approved by the House before the bill can go to the president. As Lovecraftian4Paul said, if this basic procedural rule is ignored, open rebellion would probably be a reasonable response.

Thanks for the responses. I've been putting pressure on both. This whole episode is surreal.
