Jesse Ventura is hosting a PILOT episode and will not get paid. TruTV AKA Court TV will first have to allow the series to be produced and aired on their networks and then fund the series money.

The problem is most people in the lower network hierarchy know there is great potential for this kind of program to have an awesome audience, great ratings, and profits. But the higher ups usually block these kind of programs. For what reason? Pure speculation. There is no guarantee this will be a show.... many people have been approached before for similar shows that never made it threw. Let's see what happens.

Hey, Ron Paul had to test the waters too. He had an exploratory committee. He didn't think his campaign would go anywhere, but it took off.

I don't think it's been announced yet.

Production of a pilot featuring Ventura begins next month. The project comes from A. Smith & Co. Productions, which also produces "Hell's Kitchen" and "Trading Spaces."
