To get around the House defeat, the senate is going to vote on the bill as an attachment to a bill that has already passed. Look at what they are adding. BS that has nothing to do with the economy. Mental Health Coverage???

Democratic sources told CNN that they expect bipartisan support for the bill. Because the bill must originate in the House, the Senate is attaching the rescue plan to a bill that deals with renewable energy tax incentives. This would allow the Senate to vote before the House to approve a bailout bill.
What the hell is a mortgage RELATED security? I thought Freddie and Fannie bought mortgages?
